Use your gifts in this project!
It is not just about creativity or great handwriting. Scrapbookers love to make inserts with scripture verses; I’ve seen great prayers written on empty pages; my own husband worked on a Bible where he used color-coded tabs to highlight based on topics (like God, salvation, grace); and friends have made bookmarks to color.
Get your kids involved!
My children have learned their books of the Bible simply by giving them a list of verses to highlight and searching. I loved seeing the older kids help the younger siblings. Even my 4-year-old helped by coloring rainbows in Genesis for the covenant promise.
Have a Loved Bible Project party!
Gather supplies, Bibles and friends. This is great for Bible study groups and Life Groups.
Reach out to loved ones!
I give friends and family a Bible and for 30 days I pray for them while they work on the project. I text them encouragement, scripture, and prayers. This helps make God and His Word present in our thoughts all day.
